Use the tools and information on this website to explore these green industry sectors. You'll find career pathways, job descriptions and resources to start you on your journey.

Here are 5 steps to get you started:

1. Learn about green industry sectors

2. Once there, to learn about actual green jobs:
   Click on a job title to get information on skills and training needed, as well as to see examples of actual job descriptions
   
   
3. See if a job is a match for your experience, interest and/or skills:
   • Use the worksheet to help you match your skills and interests with a green job
   • Use the MassCIS website to further explore occupations and access self-assessment tools (you’ll need to sign in and may want to create an account)
   
   
4. Learn more about these jobs in your area:
   • Do industry research on the job(s) you are interested in; use the resources page to find links to industry information
     
   • Visit your local One Stop Career Center
   • Network - talk to people working in the industry, go to community meetings about renewable energy and energy efficiency, watch for local news about the industry; see FAQ for advice on networking
     
     
5. Get more training or apply for a job:
